Ne-Yo a ‘no-show’ at Bellevue bash
According to NWCN.com, Ne-Yo missed a performance he was scheduled for. I didn’t know Ne-Yo was scheduled to be their also, so this sounds a little unusual to me. I’ll keep you posted. 
BELLEVUE, Wash. – It was billed as the biggest New Year’s Eve bash, featuring pop and R&B superstar Ne-Yo at the Meydenbauer Center.
The only problem is, Ne-Yo was a no-show. And that has some customers steamed.
“Everything from the tickets to the Web site indicated that Ne-Yo would be there,” party-goer Michael Brandt said.
Ticket prices started at $75 and ran up to $1,200 for a VIP table. Brandt spent $700 for 14 tickets.
But, gathered at Meydenbauer on New Year’s Eve, just before midnight, the no-show announcement came.

damn neyo that’s messed up i would of been pissed he was on a plane to nigeria who cancels last min. b/c they have to get to nigeria asap he stays in trouble these days
My friend that lives in Seattle had tickets to go to that event that day but the dude that got her the ticket didn’t come through so she stayed at home. Good thing she didn’t go! And what was he doing in Nigeria?!
i bet he did a concert over there! all my town did on new year’s eve was celebrating a giant moon pie and wasted $9,000!!!!!!
This smells very much like a scam by the promoter and I’d like to know if Ne-Yo had any involvement in it.
That was my first thought too, Joe, until they said they played a message by Ne-Yo saying he couldn’t make it. Ne-Yo used to be infamous for bailing on shows or going and not performing because “his money wasn’t right”. But he’s been so good lately. I’d hate to see him dip back into those old ways.
