LOL I was a little taken back when I first heard this song! I thought it sounded like him but when I heard what he was singing about my jaw hit the floor. Now I’m a lesbian, so obviously I have zero issues with gay people. But I have never seen any evidence to suggest the fact that Ne-Yo is gay. So I’m assuming that some of the parts he is singing, will be replaced by Shakira. And might I add, I’m extremely excited to hear the finished version of this song! Lesbian or not, this girl thinks Ne-Yo is perhaps one of the sexiest men on the planet. I appreciate his music and I love love love that he is bringing back style. Guys, ladies love gentleman. Or so I’ve heard from my straight friends LOL.

It ‘is’ Ne-Yo. He’s just singing in a higher registry (tone) so that a female (Shakira) could sing it comfortably.
