Ne-Yo lands 2 Nominations at the 2009 UMAs
Congrats to Ne-Yo who scored 2 nominations at the 2009 Urban Music Awards USA. Here’s what Ne-Yo had to say about the UMAs:
Alot of US artists are always familiar with awards shows they see regularly and sometimes forget that there is a much bigger world out there. The Urban Music Awards is one of the biggest awards shows in Europe because it is the only show that gives a chance to music fans, booking agents, tour promoters worldwide to vote online for their favourites and that is credible to me and i am glad that it has expanded to the USA back to the roots of urban music.
Ne-Yo is nominated for Artist of the Year and Best Music Video for ‘Ms. Independent.’
